An immersive three-day suspension retreat in the mountains outside Xalapa, Mexico featuring zipline suspensions, jungle suspensions, community meals, cabin lodging, and a traditional Temazcal ceremony.

A three-day suspension retreat in the cloud forest above Teocelo, Veracruz.

Xalapa Zipline Suspensions gathers a small group of practitioners and participants of all experience levels for several days of suspensions and rest in the mountains of central Veracruz.

Although the event is called Xalapa Zipline Suspensions, the actual retreat location is in the nearby village of Teocelo, Veracruz — about 45 minutes from Xalapa.

  • Shuttle transportation. Round-trip from Abracadabra Tattoos & Piercings in Xalapa to the retreat site in Teocelo.
  • Lodging. The nights of November 9, 10, and 11 in shared cabin accommodations.
  • Three meals daily. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served throughout the retreat.
  • One guaranteed suspension. Each attendee receives one guaranteed suspension opportunity.
  • Core retreat activities. Zipline suspensions, jungle suspensions, and open daytime activities.
  • Event t-shirt. Included with registration.

Not Included Extra / not in registration

  • Temazcal ceremony. Available at an additional cost — price to be announced.
  • Transportation to or from Xalapa. Your travel into and out of the city is your responsibility.
  • Flights. International or domestic air travel is not covered.
  • Lodging in Xalapa. Before or after the retreat — see hotel recommendations below.
  • Personal travel expenses. Meals, transit, and incidentals outside the retreat dates.
  • Personal purchases. Anything bought outside the included program.

Getting to Mexico

Most international attendees fly into Mexico City (MEX). Some attendees may fly into Veracruz directly. Mexico City is usually less expensive and offers more international connections.

Getting to Xalapa

Most attendees take an ADO bus from Mexico City to Xalapa. The bus ride is approximately 4 hours. ADO buses are comfortable, modern, and commonly used for long-distance travel in Mexico. Book tickets via the ADO app or website.

No. All experience levels are welcome — from seasoned practitioners to first-timers. If you are new to suspension, the hosts will guide you throughout.
Yes. Shuttle transportation between Xalapa and the retreat site is included.
It is strongly recommended that attendees arrive in Xalapa at least the night before departure.
Yes. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included during the retreat.
Each attendee receives one guaranteed suspension opportunity. Additional suspensions may happen if time allows.
A limited number of private rooms may be available depending on lodging arrangements.
